D. Decanting Process and Limitations

Pure Scents BD may offer perfume decants in different sizes and packaging options depending on availability. Decants are prepared by transferring fragrance from an original perfume bottle into smaller decant bottles to provide customers with an opportunity to experience fragrances in smaller quantities before purchasing a full bottle.

We take reasonable care when preparing, filling, and packaging our decants. However, certain factors relating to fragrance performance, storage, and packaging may be beyond our control, including but not limited to the following:

D(a): Fragrance Performance. The longevity, projection, and sillage of a fragrance may vary depending on the original formulation, individual skin chemistry, application method, and environmental conditions. Pure Scents BD cannot guarantee identical performance for every customer.

D(b): Batch Variations. Fragrances may vary slightly between production batches due to changes made by the original manufacturer. Such variations may affect scent characteristics, color, or performance.

D(c): Fragrance Composition and Color. The color, scent profile, and performance of a fragrance may change over time due to factors such as oxidation, formulation changes, exposure to light, heat, or air, and other storage conditions.

D(d): Storage After Purchase. Customers are responsible for storing purchased decants appropriately. Exposure to excessive heat, direct sunlight, air, or unsuitable storage conditions may affect fragrance quality and stability.

D(e): Leakage, Evaporation, and Packaging. Although we take reasonable precautions when filling and packaging decants, minor evaporation or leakage may occur during handling, transportation, or storage. Packaging materials may also interact with fragrance over time. Please contact us if your order arrives damaged or leaking so that we can review the issue in accordance with our applicable return or replacement policy.

D(f): Seasonal and Environmental Factors. Fragrance performance may vary according to weather, temperature, humidity, skin type, and application conditions. A fragrance may smell or perform differently in different seasons or environments.

By purchasing a decant from Pure Scents BD, you acknowledge that these factors may influence your fragrance experience. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

E. User Accounts

E(a): Account Security. If you create an account on the Pure Scents BD website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials, including your username and password. You should take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

H. Orders and Transactions

H(a): Order Confirmation and Acceptance. Receiving an order confirmation from Pure Scents BD does not necessarily mean that your order has been finally accepted or dispatched. We reserve the right to review, limit, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or incorrect order information. Where appropriate, we will notify you of any cancellation and arrange a refund for payments received in accordance with applicable law.

H(b): Order Verification. We may contact you by phone, SMS, or other available communication channels to verify your order details, delivery address, contact number, or payment information before processing or dispatching your order.

H(c): Pricing, Availability, and Advance Payments. Product prices, promotions, and stock availability may change from time to time. We make reasonable efforts to display accurate prices and availability on our website. However, if an error occurs, we reserve the right to contact you to resolve the issue before proceeding with the order. An advance payment may be required in certain circumstances as described below.

H(d): Advance Payment Policy. Pure Scents BD may request an advance payment to confirm an order in the following circumstances:

1. Orders exceeding BDT 5,000: An advance payment of up to 10% of the total order value may be requested.

2. Previous cancellations without a valid reason: Customers who have previously cancelled confirmed orders without a valid reason may be asked to pay an advance of 10% or, where reasonably justified, the full order amount.

3. New customers or customers with a poor courier delivery history: An advance payment may be requested where there is a reasonable concern regarding order confirmation or delivery reliability.

For orders valued at BDT 2,000 or less, whether delivery is inside or outside Dhaka, no advance payment will ordinarily be required unless one of the circumstances listed above applies.

If an advance payment is required, Pure Scents BD will contact you by phone or text message before finalizing the order. The applicable amount and payment instructions will be communicated to you clearly.

Any advance payment, cancellation, deduction, or refund will be handled in accordance with the terms communicated to the customer and applicable consumer protection laws. We will not treat an advance payment as automatically non-refundable where a refund is required by law.

H(e): Online Payment Fees. Online payments may be subject to transaction or service fees charged by the relevant payment gateway or financial service provider. Any applicable fees payable by the customer will be disclosed before payment is completed, where required.
